aṅge kāṅṭā lāgila, kichu nā jānilā!
āste-vyaste govinda tāṅra pāchete dhāilā


SYNONYMS

aṅge — on the body; kāṅṭā — thorns; lāgila — touched; kichu — anything; jānilā — did not perceive; āste-vyaste — very hastily; govinda — His personal servant; tāṅra — Him; pāchete — behind; dhāilā — ran.


TRANSLATION

Govinda ran very quickly behind the Lord, who did not feel any pain from the pricking of the thorns.
