kurukṣetre dekhi’ kṛṣṇe aiche haila mana
’kāhāṅ kurukṣetre āilāṅa, kāhāṅ vṛndāvana?’


SYNONYMS

kurukṣetre—in Kurukṣetra; dekhi’—seeing; kṛṣṇe—Lord Kṛṣṇa; aiche—in that way; haila mana—became His mind; kāhāṅ—where; kurukṣetre āilāṅa—I have come to Kurukṣetra; kāhāṅ—where; vṛndāvana—Vṛndāvana.


TRANSLATION

When He saw the deities, Lord Caitanya thought He was seeing Kṛṣṇa in Kurukṣetra. He wondered, “Have I come to Kurukṣetra? Where is Vṛndāvana?”
