ādā, lavaṇa, lembu, dugdha, dadhi, khaṇḍa-sāra
śāka dui-cāri, āra sukutāra jhola
nimba-vārtākī, āra bhṛṣṭa-paṭola


SYNONYMS

maricera jhāla—a pungent preparation with black pepper; āra—as well as; madhurāmla—a sweet-and-sour preparation; āra—also; ādā—ginger; lavaṇa—salted preparations; lembu—lime; dugdha—milk; dadhi—yogurt; khaṇḍa-sāra—cheese; śāka dui-cāri—spinach of two to four kinds; āra—and; sukutāra jhola—a soup made of bitter melon; nimba-vārtākī—eggplant mixed with nimba leaves; āra—and; bhṛṣṭa-paṭola—fried paṭola.


TRANSLATION

They offered pungent preparations made with black pepper, sweet-and-sour preparations, ginger, salty preparations, limes, milk, yogurt, cheese, two or four kinds of spinach, soup made with bitter melon, eggplant mixed with nimba flowers, and fried paṭola.
