’hari-bola’ ‘hari-bola’ bale gaurarāya
āpani śrī-haste vālu dilā tāṅra gāya


SYNONYMS

hari-bola hari-bola—chant Hari, chant Hari; bale—chanted; gaurarāya—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āpani—personally; śrī-haste—with His transcendental hands; vālu dilā—placed sand; tāṅra gāya—on his body.


TRANSLATION

With His transcendental hands, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu personally covered the body of Haridāsa Ṭhākura with sand, chanting “Haribol! Haribol!”
