prabhu kahena,—“udvege ghare nā pāri rahite
dvāra cāhi’ buli’ śīghra bāhira ha-ite


SYNONYMS

prabhu kahena—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu replied; udvege—out of great agitation; ghare—within the room; nā pāri—I was not able; rahite—to stay; dvāra cāhi’—looking for the door; buli’—wandering; śīghra—quickly; bāhira ha-ite—to get out.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu replied, “I was in such anxiety that I could not stay in the room. I wanted to go out, and therefore I wandered about the room, looking for the door.
