Vrindavan,
4 August, 1967
From Kirtanananda

[On Reverse of 670804 letter to Brahmananda]

Dandabats Prabhu!

[missing text] oth feeling very much the separation from you, but Krishna in Hi [text missing] te Mercy has ordained it this way. Our times are in His hands [missing text] feeling somewhat better although still not well. Two days ago I developed severe stomach cramps;I could not even straighten out to lie down. Gradually they subsided yesterday, and today I just have a little pain on my right side. However, today I am going to the American Missionary Hospital to see if there is something I am not doing right! (This is at Swamiji suggestion). Still it is Vrindaban, and I am with my beloved (belived) Spiritual Master. I often think how lucky I am;especially when the shit is the deepest. After all, isn’t this whole material world just a big pile? At last I think I can truthfully say that Swamiji’s health is improving. Swami Bon also noticed an improvement. By Krishna’s Grace He’ll be fit as a fiddle in a couple of months. Already He is planning a trip to Bombay. You just can’t keep Him down!

How much I would like to be there for Gargamuni’s wedding. It will be the first real wedding in the Temple. I hope they always remember Krishna, and then they will be blessed. Please extend my sincere best wishes.

I received the check. Thank you.

Please send a couple of needles for this portable record player.

Swamiji says that you can give Altman one mridanga and 2 pr. Kartal. Also I am getting busy on the matter of sending a half dozen harmoniums. I would like to send some other things, but what about the finances?

Today is Sunday; there is no feast in Vrindaban. How much I would love to be with you all, and incidentally taste those lovely items of Krishna Prasad. All glories to the kitchen crew.

love, Kirtanananda
