Dear Sri Jagannatham,

Please accept my respectful obeisances. I have been advised by His Divine Grace to inform you that He has received you former letter addressed to Los Angeles, and I also beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 17 April, 1969. In your last letter, as you advised to stop correspondence with Tirtha Maharaj and Bon Maharaj and so also you have advised in your letter under reply, my Spiritual Master, His Divine Grace, has decided to stop correspondence with godbrothers for the following reasons :

Some of them are jealous of His activities in this part of the world.

The others are not able to help in this great work.

Under the circumstances, dry correspondence leads only to strain and misunderstanding. Therefore, He has taken you advise and stopped correspondence for the time being. Please excuse.

Regarding Back To Godhead, as we are making new arrangements with our Japanese printers, the publication is suspended for March, April and May. But it will be sent to you directly as usual when it is published.

I hope this will meet you in good health.

Yours sincerely,
Purushottam das Brahmacary
(Paul Auerbach)
Secretary.
