Honolulu,

June 8, 1975

From: Paramahamsa

Amsterdam

Dear Malati,

Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I am in due receipt of your letter dated May 27, 1975. Regarding you questions, it is alright to keep putting ostrich feathers on the deities, but peacock feather must be there on Krishna. If chocolate is not an intoxicant, it can be offered to the Deities. Women who have small children should not do Deity worship or cooking for the Deities until they have completely stopped nursing and the child no longer wears diapers. The conch-shells (right-handed) can be on the alter, but no need to worship them. I hope this meets you in blissful serving mood.

Your servant,

Paramahamsa Swami
