11th January, 1976

From: Tamal Krishna

My dear Rupanuga,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I am in due receipt of your letter to Brahmananda Maharaj dated November 22, 1975.

Regarding Charoni devi dasi, Srila Prabhupada advises that she remain there and engage in chanting Hare Krishna. He said he does not know of any case in history when a mad man was cured by being put into a lunatic asylum. Neither can he suggest anyone here who is actually expert in ayurveda. The doctors in America simply make experiment. Just let her chant and take prasadam and gradually she will be cured.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Goswami
