My dear Akshayananda Maharaj,

Please accept my blessings. I am sending one bank draft as described on the enclosure addressed to the Punjab National Bank, Krishna Balaram Temple Branch. This should be deposited in my personal savings account. Please see that this order is executed by the Punjab National Bank and advise me upon receipt by the bank.

I hope that this meets you in good health.

Your ever well-wisher,

A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

n.b. several men were supposed to go to New Vrindaban for doing construction work there. I heard that they did not get passports from the Indian gov’t. Why this should be? Many of our life members and others visit our temples throughout the world, and they come from India. Why we couldn’t simply make them honorary life members, and they could get passports to visit our temples in America? Discuss this with Gopal Krishna and others who may be informed in this matter, and report the findings to me. I know these men were supposed to go to America for this because they came to say goodbye to me before they were supposedly going to leave in early April when I was there in Vrindaban.
