10 April, 1977

My dear Bishambarji,

Please accept my obeisances.

Enclosed please find a true copy of a letter Srila Prabhupada just received from the manager of the Punjab National Bank as well as a carbon copy of a letter His Divine Grace has sent in reply. This is a great inconvenience. The Fixed Deposit in question as well as three others maturing on the 10th of April are meant to be transferred for the purpose of Gurukula construction. Now the money is tied up. Shall Srila Prabhupada have to come all the way to Vrindaban to deliver the receipt? I hope that you and Aksayananda Maharaja can go with these copies of the letters and see the bank manager and induce him to do the needful.

Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Goswami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
