Bombay,

May 5, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Los Angeles

My dear Lalananami Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been asked by Srila Prabhupada to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated the 22nd of April, 1977. In reply to your question, Should Tulasi Devi be given to families who visit the temple, Srila Prabhupada said, No, let them come and offer respects to Tulasi Devi instead. But if they still want to have Tulasi Devi you can give them seeds and let the guests grow the plants from seed. You may inform any other Tulasi pujaris who write you of this instruction of Srila Prabhupada

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Gosvami
Secretary to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Srimati Lalananami Devi
c/o Tulasi Devi
ISKCON Los Angeles
