9 June, 1977

My dear Vrikodara Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been instructed by Srila Prabhupad to reply your letter dated May 20th, 1977. His Divine Grace very much enjoyed seeing the beautiful photographs of the Deities there in New Orleans. If you go on taking such beautiful care of Radha and Krsna, there is no doubt that all of your preaching attempts will be successful. Srila Prabhupad was very glad to know that you are trying hard to double book distribution and he said that this will definitely give him new life.

Because Srila Prabhupad is not at all well, His Divine Grace has postponed all further initiations for the time being. I will keep the recommendation of Vedanta-krt on file and when once again initiations are resumed will bring out the letter. Please have all of the devotees there pray fervently for Srila Prabhupad’s recovery. Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupad
His Grace Vrikodara das Adhikari
c/o ISKCON New Orleans
