Vrndavana,

August 14, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Los Angeles

My dear Ramesvara Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I have received a letter from Satsvarupa Maharaja dated August 6th, 1977. Formally Srila Prabhupada had approved the idea of expanding the size of Back to Godhead, providing it would not increase the cost by very much if at all. I am just writing to ask whether this is possible. There is no doubt that we have plenty to publish, and that the size of Back to Godhead in its present state limits this possibility. If the size could be increased to say 48 pages by slightly reducing the quality of the paper and thus keeping the cost at about the same that it is now, I thing we could publish many interesting new items. I would appreciate hearing from you in this regard soon. As I know you are very busy please don’t stick my letter on the bottom of your stack, but simply dictate a response to your secretary so I can get your ideas on the matter.

Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,
Tamal Krishna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
