śuni' mahāprabhu kichu lajjita hailā mane
tāṅre santoṣite kichu balena vacane


SYNONYMS

śuni — hearing; mahāprabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kichu — somewhat; lajjita — ashamed; hailā — became; mane — within the mind; tāṅre — him; santoṣite — to satisfy; kichu — some; balena — said; vacane — words.


TRANSLATION

Hearing this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was somewhat ashamed. Just to satisfy Sanātana Gosvāmī, He spoke the following words.
