''Paṇḍita, paṇḍita'' means one who knows. Generally, in India the learned ''brahmins'' are called "Panditjī." ''Brāhmaṇa's'' honorable, I mean to say, title is "Panditjī." And ''vaiśya's'' honorable title: "Sethjī." Panditjī, Sethjī. Even the ''śūdras'', they are given some honor, "Choudhuri." This is Indian system. Everyone is given some honor. Especially in upper India, the ''brahmins'', even at the present moment, they are addressed as Panditjī. And the ''kṣatriyas'', they are addressed as "Thakur Saheb". And ''vaiśyas'', they are addressed as Sethjī, and the ''śūdras'', they're addressed as Choudhurijī. They're also given some honor. This was the system of Indian life. Hindus, Muhammadans, they used to live very peacefully. It is not a fact that Muhammadans were always aggressive. Otherwise, how they could rule over India for eight hundred years? The Britishers could not rule even two hundred years. But they ruled over India eight hundred years. Only due to Aurangzeb's policy, the Mogul empire dismantled.

Prabhupāda: Yes, I am trying to send this girl to Russia, Moscow, to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Yamunā: But I think it is very dangerous.

Prabhupāda: Not . . . I don't . . . we got a invitation from Czechoslovakia. That is also Communist country, but there the people invited us to open a center. Din ka ḍākinī rat ka bhāginī . . . pālak hai, pālak pālak rahu cuse . . . (In the morning she is like a witch, at night she is like a tigress . . . every moment she is sucking blood.)

Yamunā: The Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra was number one in Czechoslovakia. We have one record. I just chant Hare Kṛṣṇa over and over, the mahā-mantra, and in that country it was the most popular of all records.

Prabhupāda: In Germany also. We sold fifty thousand records in Germany. And there is another record, govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi. That is also selling very nicely. And recently another record you produced? What is that?

Yamunā: Yes, that will be a long-playing record, Śrīla Prabhupāda. Its name is Bhaja Hūre Mana, Mana Hū Re.

Prabhupāda: Ah, bhaja hūre mana, śrī nanda-nandana, abhaya-caraṇāravinda re.

Yamunā: And saṁsāra prayers, vande 'ham prayers.

Prabhupāda: So that is not yet out?

Yamunā: Well, from what I understood, Mr. Harrison wants to get it out before Christmas, but I have not heard from Śyāmasundara what has developed.
