721020 - Letter to Mr. and Mrs. Nair from Syamasundara

Radha-Damodar Temple. Sewa Kunj. Vrindaban, district Mathura, U.P.

October 20, 1972

From Shyamsundar dasa

My dear Mr. and Mrs. Nair,

Please accept my humble obeisances and greetings. On behalf of His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada, I beg to inform you that His Divine Grace has reserved two very nice rooms for your comfortable accommodation, (just adjacent to His quarters in the temple of Srila Rupa and Srila Jiva Goswamins here in Vrindaban,) and furthermore, His Divine Grace extends to you both His most cordial invitation to join Him here at your convenience and to stay with Him for as long as you like during this most auspicious Karttik-vrat season. Prabhupad is remaining here for another month, terminating His sixth world preaching tour by addressing the devotees morning and evening daily in the courtyard of the temple. His Divine Grace is very fond of you both, and he often speaks with good words of your generosity and devotion to Lord Krishna. Therefore he has requested me specially to write to you and invite you to visit Him here, wanting to see you both again very much, yet Himself being unable to visit Bombay for some months due to a scheduled tour of South India.

May I also urge you to oblige the desire of your many "children," who are staying here with Srila Prabhupad, to see you again! All of us, especially my wife Malati and little Saraswati, remember you both with great affection and earnestly relish the thought of having you here with us for some time. Kindly inform His Divine Grace when you can come at the above address. Hoping this meets you both in the very best of health and spiritual mood,

Your servant in the service of the Lord,

Shyamsundar das Adhikary,

Secretary to A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami.
