741119 - Letter to Tejiyas from Brahmananda

Bombay,

November 19, 1974

From: Brahmananda

New Delhi

Dear Tejiyas das Prabhu:

Please accept my humble obeisances. I am in due receipt of your letter dated November 12, 1974 and have discussed your questions with Srila Prabhupada. Regarding the land purchase, Prabhupada has already advised that the matter be dropped and that the land purchase be stopped.

Regarding your having to open a Current Account, I am enclosing a copy of the Resolution you have requested. Regarding the women and children devotees from U.K., Prabhupada said that you can ask them not to send them, especially women and children. Prabhupada said that India is poverty stricken, so why should they come here? Some of the men may come, but not the women. Women are living luggage, and therefore useless.

I hope this meets you in good health.

Your servant,

Brahmananda Swami
