760504 - Letter to Ekayani from Pusta Krsna

Honolulu,

May 4, 1976

From: Pusta Krishna

Bombay

Dear Ekayani dasi,

Please accept my humble obeisances. My dear mother, I have been asked by Srila Prabhupada to reply your letter of April 26, 1976 and I have discussed the matter thoroughly with His Divine Grace.

In India your husband is there, and your husband’s home is there. If there is some difficulty at the temple, then Gopal Krishna’s mother would surely welcome you into their home. Why should you go to N.Y.? There is no question of going back to N.Y., either you can live in the temple or at your husband’s home very peacefully with your husband and child. You and he are both devotees, so why should there be such disagreement. However, the society cannot support you if you should decide to return to New York. The ISKCON cannot support the whims of anyone and everyone who wants to live separately, that is not possible. So best to live peacefully and cultivate your Krishna Consciousness with your husband and child there in Bombay. I hope that this will set your mind at ease. All necessities are being provided for you and your child, so simply be satisfied and go on with your becoming Krishna Conscious. I hope that this will meets you in good health.

Yours faithfully,

Pusta Krishna Swami,

Personal Secretary
