770418 - Letter to Bir Raghava from Tamal Krsna

Bombay,

April 18, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Los Angeles

My dear Bir Raghava Prabhu,

Please accept my obeisances. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated April 6th, 1977. I presented the Srimad Bhagavatam, Second Canto, Volume 1 in Spanish to Srila Prabhupada. His Divine Grace was very pleased. His Divine Grace said, “Thank you very much. Krishna will bless you. My Guru Maharaja is very pleased upon you. He wanted books. How much eager he was for printing books.” Srila Prabhupada is continuing his translation work every night even though he is not very fit in health. Please go on translating and printing more and more Bhagavatams. It is an ever-enlivening factor to His Divine Grace. Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
