770521 - Letter to Giriraja from Tamal Krsna

Vrndavana,

May 21, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Bombay

My dear Giriraja,

Please accept my blessings. I beg to thank you for your letter dated 17th May, 1977. I am very glad to learn that you are getting great spiritual encouragement and strength. Krishna will give you all power. You have persevered throughout all difficulties and have acted as commander of our army there in Bombay and always you remained cool-headed throughout. Remain faithful and Krishna will give you all intelligence and strength how to organize everything very nicely. Your idea to shift the kitchen to the first floor of the E building is very good and you can do it immediately. I am also glad to learn that you are liberating more rooms in the other buildings for preaching and receiving guests.

It is a dream to think that the Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority will give money for our Mayapur project. The Government authorities are not interested. That is the trend of this modern animal civilization. We should not count on their help.

As soon as Indian Overseas Bank is open I shall open a personal account. You can send me now the necessary papers for opening the account. Here in Vrndavana it is very warm but still the atmosphere is fully transcendental and it is a relief to be here. The temple is very nice and always there are crowds of people coming to see Sri Krishna-Balarama. I am very anxious that the temple must open in Bombay according to schedule. Please see that this happens without fail. I hope this meets you well.

Your ever well-wisher,
