770720 - Letter to Chandravali from Tamal Krsna

July 20th, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Dear Chandravali Prabhu,

Please accept my obeisances. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to reply your letter dated 8th July, 1977.

The situation which you have described with your husband is not very nice. I have already written him advice regarding his farm plans. But regarding your family, there is no reason why even if you live in Oregon you cannot send your son Candrasekhara to Los Angeles Gurukula. He is old enough and could be sent immediately, it does not require your presence there. Regarding your other children and your husband, these you will have to deal with. Srila Prabhupada no longer wants to have to deal with these problems of devotee’s family life. These matters are for you to settle up personally, not to take up with the spiritual master. Prabhupada’s health is now so fragile, that He cannot be disturbed with these types of letters. I think you have to try to understand your spiritual master’s condition, and deal with these problems yourself.

Hoping this meets you in an improved condition.

Your servant,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
