770905 - Letter to Srutadeva from Tamal Krsna

London,

September 5, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Los Angeles

My dear Srutadeva Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I beg to thank you for your letter dated August 17th, 1977. I am glad to understand that you are now engaged working for the Library Party as well as working for Mailorder, both of which are very important services for pushing on Srila Prabhupada’s book distribution program. Your suggestion for Srila Prabhupada’s improved health by the use of chicory is very kind. But Srila Prabhupada prefers now to depend upon Krishna, and therefore your prayer to the Lord for Prabhupada’s recovery will actually be the most effective medicine. Please pray very fervently that Lord Krishna may desire to have Srila Prabhupada remain with us for many years to come. Actually Srila Prabhupada is recuperating very nicely here at Bhaktivedanta Manor. He is getting wonderful rest, more than He has gotten in many months in Vrndavana. He very much enjoys the atmosphere of the Manor, and peaceful quiet quarters in which He lives. We expect that Srila Prabhupada will be journeying on to American in about a week’s time, and eventually He will come to Los Angeles as well, at which time you will be able to view the pure devotee of the Lord in His full glories. Hoping this meets you in the best of health and Krishna consciousness.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Gosvami
