771031 - Letter to Ghanasyama from Tamal Krsna

October 31st, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Dear Ghanasyama Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you for your letter dated October 17th, 1977. Srila Prabhupada said that if it is possible to increase the Standing Orders to be taken by the common man all over the world, that would be the greatest boon for spreading book distribution. Srila Prabhupada said you are most intelligent boy, so you discuss with the other leaders there, and if it is possible to increase book distribution by developing standing orders in different ways then try for it. I can personally recommend that you may speak with Tripurari Maharaja in this regard as he is already trying to develop a standing order program and could probably be very much helped by your participation. But of course whatever work the Library party is doing should not be hampered. If you leave things should not fall apart. And you should do everything cooperatively with the authorities that you are working with. Please keep Srila Prabhupada informed of your activities because He always inquires about your preaching work. Hoping this meets you in the best of health and Krsna consciousness.

Your servant,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
