771105 - Letter to Pusta Krsna from Tamal Krsna

November 5th, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

My dear Pusta Krsna Prabhu,

Please accept my obeisances. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you for your letter dated October 24th, 1977. I read your letter to His Divine Grace who listened attentively, being glad to receive news from you. When you mentioned that you hoped to use the skills of Sanskrit and Hindi in His Divine Grace’s service, Srila Prabhupada said; “Yes, that is very good.” When you said that you did not want to displease Him, Srila Prabhupada said, “No, I am not displeased at all.” And finally when you said that you were ready to accept either His blessings or chastisement Srila Prabhupada said, “Blessings! You are doing nicely now. Go on chanting Hare Krsna and following the regulative principles. That will keep you safe.”

I am very glad that you have written Srila Prabhupada as He sometimes thinks of you and I know that now that you have heard these encouraging words from Him, that will give you increased enthusiasm for keeping your strong ties at the lotus feet of His Divine Grace and Lord Krsna. Hoping this meets you in the best of health and Krsna consciousness.

Your servant,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
P.S. Srila Prabhupada thanks you also for the daksina which you enclosed as well as the nice photographs.
