771105 - Letter to Tusta Krishna from Tamal Krsna

Vrndavana,

November 5, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Waimauku, New Zealand

My dear Tusta Krishna Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you for your letter dated October 25th, 1977. Srila Prabhupada received the news of the progress which you are having at the farm with great enthusiasm. He is very glad of the work you are doing there and said continue to increase all programs, it is Lord Caitanya’s mercy. Regarding your coming here to visit Srila Prabhupada, His Divine Grace was very happy to hear that. Probably we shall be going to Mayapur within about a week’s time. It would be best for you to inquire ahead of time where we are. Otherwise you may come and not find us. Srila Prabhupada’s health has not shown any marked improvement. He is still quite critical. However we are always hoping that he will regain his strength. There is no doubt that the personal association of older devotees like yourself is the greatest cure of all, so please come as soon as you can.

Hoping this meets you in the best of health and Krishna consciousness.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
